Summer Fun In The Sun!

The LEAD Street Soccer Program was created to provide a free, safe, and welcoming environment where players can simply enjoy the beautiful game through small sided games. During the hot summer days, players will have the opportunity to be themselves, play with friends, and experience the game in its most natural form—without coaches directing every move.

Why Street Soccer?

Our goal is to empower players to think, communicate, and solve problems on their own. By removing traditional coaching during play, players learn to make decisions, work together, and develop creativity on the field.

While our staff will supervise all activities to ensure a safe environment, there will be no coaching during games. This allows players to take ownership of the game and learn through experience.

The vision of the LEAD Street Soccer Program is to create a welcoming environment for players from all across Connecticut to come together, enjoy the game, and return each week excited to build friendships and lifelong memories.

One of the big takeaways from this experience is how important it is to give PLAYERS lots of chances to play freely, in an unstructured environment with children of a variety of ages, in order to develop their bodies, skills and brains to help them grow to be happy, healthy, resilient adults.
